With no prior pitching experience and only about an hour of practice on the mound before game time, Myers volunteered to pitch when the team needed someone to step up. He didn't just survive the moment — he competed. For a player to walk into an entirely unfamiliar role under game conditions and hold his own is no small thing.

At the plate, Myers was equally reliable. He went a combined 4-for-5 across both games, posting an .800 average on the week. Consistent contact, no bad at-bats, and a steady presence in the lineup on a day when Trinity needed it. In a doubleheader where the team scored just 4 runs in Game 1 and 5 in Game 2, Myers gave Trinity opportunities every time he stepped in the box.
